Not only is she stunning on the outside, but this Supermodel/WHO Goodwill Ambassador for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health Liya Kebede has proven to be just as beautiful on the inside. In a move towards sustainability, Liya created Lemlem, a clothing line using fabrics handmade by Ethiopian men & women. After realizing traditional weavers in this region of the world were experiencing job loss due to the decline in demand for their lost art, Liya stylishly took action.

With the launch of her signature collection in 2004, Tory set out to design sportswear to be sold at an accessible price point for every fashionable girl around. Time has proven that she has not only reached her initial goal, but surpassed it. Just about every woman on this amazing planet of ours knows Tory Burch’s merchandise. It’s Americana with that special twist that we all seem love. {I mean who doesn’t long for a pair of those famous flats?!} Synonymous with ‘Cozy-Chic’, Tory Burch is almost a verb!

It’s true. I’m currently obsessing over Prabal Gurung. This ‘Fashion Design Phenom’ is certainly all-of-that. Not only is he a CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund 2010 runner up {well deserved, I might add}, he’s also an amazing designer with a huge heart. Smart, talented, with an eye on global sustainability, he proudly lets it be known that he manufactures sweaters from his line in Nepal {his native country}. This big-hearted move supports local communities there while offering up amazing design for us all. As if that wasn’t enough, just have a look-see at his Spring ’11 collection below…
