Louis Vuitton
Until now, most Monday’s Muse posts have been about fashion & accessories brands whose “face” is the namesake herself (Monique Pean, Rachel Roy, Tory Burch, Diane Von Furstenburg, etc.). Well, there’s a first for everything. This week’s no exception to that rule because I’m featuring my first fashion “house” as a Muse.
Louis Vuitton is more than just a brand, it’s a fashion empire! Although a French Fashion House, it’s merchandise is somehow synonymous with American style. Just about everyone recognizes the famous yummy chocolate brown infused with golden “LVs”. And what goes without saying is how ‘quality outshines style’ when talking Louis Vuitton.
With that being said, I am equally smitten with how charitable this fashion giant is. They seem to seamlessly weave giving into their business by periodically teaming up with other philanthropic businesses in order to support their work and missions.
For one, Louis Vuitton teamed up with the amazing White Ribbon Alliance {at the request of Ms. Naomi Campbell} to support the work that they do for women globally. Louis Vuitton designed a limited edition bag and donated a portion of proceeds to the organization.
Most recently, LV got it’s creative juices flowing and designed a special edition bag for Edun, the for-profit fashion brainchild of Bono & Ali Hewson.

Edun was created to raise awareness about the possibilities in Africa and to encourage the fashion industry to do business in this beautiful country. Sustainability is at it’s core based on their intent to do “business not charity”.
The Louis Vuitton Bag for Edun is, as expected, perfectly reflective of both brands being strong, durable and masterfully crafted.
I, like thousands of others, love Louis Vuitton for their products. But I also admire them for their efforts to support good in the world.
Louis Vuitton.
Style. Substance. Support.
LOVE!
Please visit Louis Vuitton to learn more about their philanthropic efforts.
Happy Monday!
